Crude futures settle lower

NEW YORK, June 4 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices fell on Wednesday.

The West Texas Intermediate for July delivery decreased by 56 cents, or 0.88 percent, to settle at 62.85 U.S. dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for August delivery dropped 77 cents, or 1.17 percent, to settle at 64.86 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
