Crude futures settle higher

NEW YORK, May 28 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices advanced on Wednesday.

The West Texas Intermediate for July delivery went up 95 cents, or 1.56 percent, to settle at 61.84 U.S. dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for July delivery gained 81 cents, or 1.26 percent, to settle at 64.90 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
