Crude futures settle lower

NEW YORK, May 27 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices fell on Tuesday.

The West Texas Intermediate for July delivery dropped 64 cents, or 1.04 percent, to settle at 60.89 U.S. dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for July delivery decreased 65 cents, or 1.0 percent, to settle at 64.09 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
