Crude futures settle higher

NEW YORK, May 19 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices inched up on Monday.

The West Texas Intermediate for June delivery gained 20 cents, or 0.32 percent, to settle at 62.69 U.S. dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for July delivery went up 13 cents, or 0.2 percent, to settle at 65.54 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
