Tesla sales slump in the Netherlands amid global trade tensions


THE HAGUE, May 2 (Xinhua) -- Tesla has experienced a sharp decline in sales in the Netherlands, with just 382 vehicles sold in April, down nearly 75 percent from the 1,457 cars registered during the same month last year, according to figures jointly released by Dutch auto industry groups BOVAG, RAI Association, and RDC.

In the first four months of 2025, Tesla recorded a sale of 3,825 new vehicles in the Netherlands, a substantial decrease compared to the 8,299 registrations during the same period in 2024.
