Slovenia's annual inflation reaches 2.3 pct in April


LJUBLJANA, April 30 (Xinhua) -- Slovenia's annual inflation rose to 2.3 percent in April, the highest level since May 2024, the country's Statistical Office reported on Wednesday.

The inflation rate marked an increase from 2 percent in March, but remained below the 3 percent recorded in April last year. On a monthly basis, inflation reached 1.3 percent, up from 0.6 percent in March - the highest monthly rate since June 2023.
