OSCE urges electoral reform in BiH

SARAJEVO, April 24 (Xinhua) -- Despite continued international support, key reforms in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH)'s electoral system remain unimplemented, said Brian Aggeler, head of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) Mission to BiH, at a post-election conference in Sarajevo on Thursday.

Aggeler highlighted persistent problems such as inaccuracies in the voter register, unequal vote value, and limited guarantees for secret ballots-issues that, he warned, continue to undermine public confidence in the integrity of elections. He stressed that the primary responsibility for enacting reforms lies with the country's political actors.
