IMF projects moderate growth for Greek economy

ATHENS, April 22 (Xinhua) -- Greece's economy is expected to maintain moderate growth over the next two years, with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) forecasting gross domestic product (GDP) expansion of 2 percent in 2025 and 1.8 percent in 2026, according to local media reports on Tuesday.

In its latest World Economic Outlook report, the IMF also projects that inflation in Greece will continue to ease, falling to 2.4 percent in 2025 and further to 2.1 percent by 2026.
