JERUSALEM, April 15 (Xinhua) -- Israel's 12-month inflation rate fell to 3.3 percent in March, down from 3.8 percent in January and 3.4 percent in February, according to data released Tuesday by the country's Central Bureau of Statistics.
Despite the decline, inflation remains above the government's target range of 1 to 3 percent.
The largest price decreases were seen in furniture, home equipment, and communication, each dropping by 0.4 percent in March.
Clothing and footwear prices rose 2.2 percent in March, while culture and entertainment costs increased by 1.5 percent.
Meanwhile, home prices in Israel surged 7.5 percent in January and February, compared to the same period in 2024.
