Trump urges Senate Republicans to reject protest vote on tariffs

WASHINGTON (Reuters) -Donald Trump urged his fellow Republicans in the U.S. Senate to vote against a measure rebuking his tariff policy that is tied to the fentanyl emergency the president declared involving Canada.

"Republicans in the Senate MUST vote to keep the National Emergency in place," Trump wrote in a post on his private social media platform.
