NEW YORK, March 31 (Xinhua) -- U.S. stocks ended mixed on Monday.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 417.86 points, or 1.00 percent, to 42,001.76. The S&P 500 added 30.91 points, or 0.55 percent, to 5,611.85. The Nasdaq Composite Index shed 23.70 points, or 0.14 percent, to 17,299.29.
