2nd LD Writethru: Five injured in Amsterdam stabbing

THE HAGUE, March 27 (Xinhua) -- Five people were injured on Thursday in a stabbing incident near Dam Square in central Amsterdam, according to city police.

The incident occurred on Sint Nicolaasstraat, a street close to the popular tourist area. Police have cordoned off part of the square and arrested a suspect.
