U.S. stocks rally as investors digest Fed meeting


NEW YORK, March 19 (Xinhua) -- U.S. stocks rebounded on Wednesday after the Federal Reserve kept interest rates unchanged and lowered its economic growth forecast for the year.

The Nasdaq Composite led the gains and concluded at 17,750.79, rising 1.41 percent. The Dow Jones Industrial Average climbed 383.32 points, or 0.92 percent, to 41,964.63, while the S&P 500 advanced 1.08 percent to 5,675.29.
