Aid group hosts iftar for nearly 1,000 orphans in Damascus


DAMASCUS, March 12 (Xinhua) -- A humanitarian organization hosted an iftar dinner for nearly 1,000 orphans in Damascus on Wednesday, aiming to bring joy and hope to young Syrians facing challenging times.

The event, organized by local aid group "Hand" in collaboration with the Damascus governorate, gathered children from orphanages across the capital to share a communal meal during the holy month of Ramadan.
