Malta's central bank revises 2025 growth projection to 4 pct


VALLETTA, March 11 (Xinhua) -- The Central Bank of Malta on Tuesday marginally revised its economic growth projection for 2025 upwards to 4 percent, though still two percentage points lower than last year.

According to the bank's latest forecasts, Malta's real GDP growth is expected to ease from 6 percent in 2024 to 4 percent in 2025. Growth is projected to moderate further, reaching 3.3 percent in 2027, the bank said in its report.
