SADC initiates study on regional railway master plan


HARARE, Feb. 28 (Xinhua) -- The Southern African Development Community (SADC) Secretariat said on Friday that it has embarked on a study to develop a regional railway master plan and a bankable investment strategy.

Angele Makombo N'tumba, deputy executive secretary for regional integration of the SADC, made the announcement while speaking at the SADC Cluster Meeting of Ministers Responsible for Transport, ICT, Information and Meteorology in Harare, Zimbabwe's capital.
