Belarus MPs ratify agreement with Russia on security guarantees

MINSK, Feb. 26 (Xinhua) -- The Belarusian parliament ratified an agreement between Belarus and Russia on security guarantees within the Union State, the press service of the Belarusian parliament said on Wednesday.

The agreement is of strategic importance for strengthening the alliance relations between Belarus and Russia, Sergei Aleinik, chairman of the commission on international affairs and national security of the upper house of the Belarusian parliament, said on Wednesday.
