Malta unveils 10-mln-euro home renewable boost


VALLETTA, Feb. 24 (Xinhua) -- Malta launched over 10 million euros in schemes on Monday to help households transition to sustainable energy.

The incentives support the installation of photovoltaic systems and battery storage, featuring a 0.105-euro feed-in tariff per kWh over 20 years, a simplified application process with instant approval, and various grant categories based on the system type.

The funding, totaling 10.3 million euros, aims to boost energy efficiency and further the country's clean energy goals.

Energy Minister Miriam Dalli said the incentives aims to help families be part of Malta's clean energy transition.
