BRUSSELS, Feb. 4 (Xinhua) -- European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said on Tuesday that the European Union (EU) is prepared for tough negotiations with the United States (U.S.) to safeguard its economic interests.
Her remarks came after U.S. President Donald Trump announced plans to impose tariffs on imports from the EU.
