Weekly storage of natural gas in U.S. decreases: EIA


HOUSTON, Jan. 30 (Xinhua) -- Working gas storage in the contiguous United States was 2,571 billion cubic feet in the week ending Jan. 24, a net decrease of 321 billion cubic feet from the previous week, the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) said in a report Thursday.

The total working gas storage declined by 5.3 percent from one year ago, or down 4.1 percent above the five-year average, according to the EIA's Weekly Natural Gas Storage Report.
