LOS ANGELES, Jan. 29 (Xinhua) -- A new study found that Black community has been disproportionally hit by Southern California's deadly Eaton Fire which claimed at leat 17 lives and destroyed more than 9,000 structures earlier this month.
According to the study published Tuesday by the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), Black households in Altadena, a historically Black, middle-class and culturally vibrant community, were disproportionately more likely to experience damage or destruction due to the Eaton Fire.
