Chairwoman of BiH presidency hails relations with China

SARAJEVO, Jan. 17 (Xinhua) -- Zeljka Cvijanovic, Chairwoman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), described relations with China as a model of genuine friendly cooperation.

Cvijanovic made the remarks on Wednesday in Sarajevo during a ceremony to receive the credentials of the newly appointed Chinese Ambassador to BiH Li Fan.

She emphasized BiH's commitment to strengthening political and economic ties with China, as well as enhancing exchanges in education, tourism, and culture.

Li highlighted that cooperation between China and BiH has deepened across various fields under the guidance of the two countries' leaders. She expressed hope that the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations in 2025 would serve as an opportunity to further advance bilateral ties under the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative and the China-CEEC (Central and Eastern European Countries) Cooperation.
