U.S. dollar little changed

NEW YORK, Nov. 15 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar was almost flat in late trading on Friday.

The dollar index, which measures the greenback against six major peers, gained 0.01 percent to 106.686 at 3:00 p.m. (2000 GMT).

In late New York trading, the euro declined to 1.0537 U.S. dollars from 1.0548 dollars in the previous session, and the British pound was down to 1.2612 dollars from 1.2687 dollars in the previous session.

The U.S. dollar bought 154.22 Japanese yen, lower than 155.93 Japanese yen of the previous session. The U.S. dollar dropped to 0.8876 Swiss francs from 0.8887 Swiss francs, and it rose to 1.4092 Canadian dollars from 1.4036 Canadian dollars. The U.S. dollar added to 10.9824 Swedish Kronor from 10.9694 Swedish Kronor.
