Joerg Kukies to become new German finance minister, reports broadcaster

BERLIN (Reuters) - Joerg Kukies, a top official in the German chancellery and deputy finance minister, will be the next German finance minister after Christian Lindner was fired, broadcaster Tagesschau reported on Thursday.
