Crude futures settle higher

NEW YORK, Nov. 5 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices climbed on Tuesday.

The West Texas Intermediate for December delivery increased 52 cents, or 0.73 percent, to settle at 71.99 U.S. dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for January delivery added 45 cents, or 0.6 percent, to settle at 75.53 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
