Tirana music festival promotes classic music


TIRANA, Oct. 27 (Xinhua) -- The third edition of Kosmos Tirana Music Festival is underway in Tirana, aimed at promoting classic music among the people.

The five-day event kicked off on Saturday evening. In the opening address, Jonian Ilias Kadesha, artistic director of the festival, said, "Music knows no small, big, visible, invisible borders, it finds its way to the soul of every human inhabitant of this world."

Kadesha thanked Tirana Municipality and local arts university for offering help to the event. Musicians from various countries will play pieces by masters such as Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Franz Schubert and Franz Haydn.
