ConteQ Expo 2024 opens in Doha, showcasing global construction tech


DOHA, Sept. 16 (Xinhua) -- The ConteQ Expo 2024, a premier international exhibition dedicated to construction technology and services, kicked off Monday at the Qatar National Convention Center.

Featuring over 250 exhibitors from 24 countries and more than 60 expert speakers, the three-day event offers workshops and discussions on cutting-edge topics such as modular construction, productivity enhancements, and smart digital solutions.

"This inaugural event marks a significant milestone in Qatar's journey toward technological advancement in the construction sector," said Minister of Municipality Abdullah bin Hamad bin Abdullah Al Attiyah during the opening ceremony.

The expo is expected to contribute to Qatar's Third National Development Strategy and support the Qatar National Vision 2030, which aims to transform the country into a knowledge-based economy.
