PARIS, Aug. 3 (Xinhua) -- Spain's Jon Rahm and Xander Schauffele of the United States are tied at 14 under par, leading into the men's individual stroke play final round, which will be held at the Le Golf National on Sunday.

Rahm delivered an outstanding performance in Saturday's third-round competition, carding seven birdies to move from the fourth to a share of the lead. The defending champion Schauffele had a steady game highlighted by a pivotal eagle on the 14th hole that kept him at the top.

Britain's Tommy Fleetwood is closely behind in the third, just one shot off the lead at 13 under par. Despite a bogey on the 12th hole, Fleetwood's third round featured three birdies, keeping him in contention.

Nicolai Hojgaard of Denmark recorded five birdies and an eagle on the 14th, moving from the 30th to a tie for fourth with Japan's Hideki Matsuyama at 11 under par.

Chinese golfers Dou Zecheng and Yuan Yechun struggled in their third round, ranked 50th and 58th, respectively.

The final round on Sunday will see the ultimate standings determined by the cumulative scores from the four rounds.
