Nepal reports growing trade with China


KATHMANDU, July 10 (Xinhua) -- Nepal's trade with China increased significantly during the past 11 months of the current fiscal year, though its overall foreign trade went down during the period, the central bank of Nepal announced on Wednesday.

While the exports to China surged by 57.7 percent to 2.4 billion rupees (18 million U.S. dollars), Nepal's imports from the northern neighbor grew by 34.8 percent to 272.81 billion rupees (2.04 billion dollars), according to Nepal Rastra Bank figures.
