U.S. dollar ticks down

NEW YORK, April 25 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar weakened in late trading on Thursday.

The dollar index, which measures the greenback against six major peers, lost 0.24 percent to 105.598 at 3:00 p.m. (1900 GMT).
