U.S. dollar ticks up

NEW YORK, March 28 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar increased in late trading on Thursday.

The dollar index, which measures the greenback against six major peers, went up 0.19 percent to 104.546 at 3:00 p.m. (1900 GMT).
