Crude futures settle lower

NEW YORK, Feb. 23 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices fell on Friday.

The West Texas Intermediate for April delivery decreased 2.12 U.S. dollars, or 2.7 percent, to settle at 76.49 dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for April delivery dropped to 2.05 dollars, or 2.45 percent, to settle at 81.62 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
