Tesla recalls over 2 mln vehicles over autopilot safety issues

SAN FRANCISCO, Dec. 13 (Xinhua) -- Tesla said on Wednesday the company is recalling more than 2 million of its vehicles over autopilot safety issues after an investigation found its autopilot safety system was "not sufficient to prevent driver misuse."

"In certain circumstances when Autosteer is engaged, the prominence and scope of the feature's controls may not be sufficient to prevent driver misuse," the recall notice said.
