U.S. dollar ticks down


NEW YORK, Dec. 7 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar weakened in late trading on Thursday.

The dollar index, which measures the greenback against six major peers, decreased by 0.59 percent to 103.540 at 3:00 p.m. (2000 GMT).
