Canada signs deal to refurbish nuclear reactor in Romania

OTTAWA, Nov. 28 (Xinhua) -- The Canadian government on Tuesday signed a contract to refurbish Canada's pressurized heavy-water reactor at a nuclear power plan in Romania.

Minister of Export Promotion, International Trade and Economic Development Mary Ng announced in a news release the signing of the deal of 750 million Canadian dollars (553 million U.S. dollars) at the World Nuclear Exhibition in Paris.
