U.S. dollar ticks down

NEW YORK, Oct. 30 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar weakened in late trading on Monday.

The dollar index, which measures the greenback against six major peers, decreased 0.41 percent to 106.120 at 3:00 p.m. (1900 GMT).
