Indonesia ruling party picks security minister Mahfud MD for VP candidate - chief

JAKARTA (Reuters) - Indonesia's chief security minister Mahfud MD has been chosen to run with the ruling party's presidential candidate Ganjar Pranowo, said party head Megawati Sukarnoputri on Wednesday.

Indonesia is set to hold simultaneous presidential and legislative elections on Feb. 14, 2024.
