Symposium on human rights theories held in NE China

CHANGCHUN, Oct. 14 (Xinhua) -- A symposium themed "The Chinese Path to Modernization and the Promotion of Free and Comprehensive Human Development" was held Saturday in Changchun, northeast China's Jilin Province. It centered around human rights theories.

More than 50 experts and scholars conducted in-depth discussions on human rights on the Chinese path to modernization, including the path, practice, knowledge systems, and civilization forms of human rights.
