MAIDAN SHAR, Afghanistan, Oct. 12 (Xinhua) -- Police have recovered arms and ammunition in east Afghanistan's Wardak province, provincial police spokesperson Yusuf Israr said Thursday.
The seizure includes eight pieces of Kalashnikovs, one pistol, thousands of bullets and other military equipments. Mortar mines were discovered in Bihsud and Jalrez districts recently, the statement added.
