Netherlands beats China, Poland notches 5th straight win in Olympic volleyball qualifiers

XI'AN, China, Oct. 6 (Xinhua) -- The Netherlands men's national volleyball team came from behind to beat China in a five-setter and Poland claimed its fifth consecutive win over Argentina 3-1 in Group C of FIVB Olympic men's volleyball qualifiers here on Friday.

After splitting the first two sets, China built up a 5-3 lead in the beginning of the third set but failed to keep their advantage due to consecutive unforced errors. Netherlands' outside hitter Gijs Jorna, who scored 11 points, spearheaded a 6-0 run to help the visitors win 25-16.
