U.S. dollar ticks up


NEW YORK, Oct. 2 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar increased in late trading on Monday.

The dollar index, which measures the greenback against six major peers, went up 0.74 percent to 106.903 at 3:00 p.m. (1900 GMT).
