SANAA, Aug. 31 (Xinhua) -- The World Health Organization (WHO) on Thursday voiced deep concern over increasing cases of measles and rubella among children in war-torn Yemen after its immunization work faced a funding shortage.
As of July 31, the number of suspected cases of measles and rubella in Yemen has reached almost 34,300, and there were 413 deaths, compared to 27,000 cases and 220 associated deaths in 2022, WHO said in a press release.
