TEHRAN, July 6 (Xinhua) -- A total of 833 people have been referred to medical centers in the southeastern Iranian province of Sistan and Baluchestan over the past five days due to health problems caused by sand storms, Iran's IRIB news agency reported on Thursday.
Majid Mohebi, head of the province's Disaster Mitigation and Management Organization, told IRIB that 128 of those people had been hospitalized mostly for breathing problems, heart or eye conditions caused by the sand storms.
