MOGADISHU, July 5 (Xinhua) -- The UN humanitarian agency said Wednesday it has provided 43 million U.S. dollars to address the impact of food insecurity and drought in Somalia.
The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) said the funds will be used to provide life-saving assistance to communities affected by drought and famine prevention.
