Brexit leaves "deep economic traces in Germany": German industry association

BERLIN, June 22 (Xinhua) -- The United Kingdom's (UK) departure from the European Union (EU) has left "deep economic traces in Germany," the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DIHK) said Thursday.

DIHK Chief Executive of Foreign Trade Volker Treier said it was "an economic disaster for both sides of the channel," adding that there is still considerable planning and legal uncertainty for German companies doing business in the UK.
