NAIROBI, June 14 (Xinhua) -- The food crisis is set to escalate across East and Horn of Africa in 2023, the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) said in a report released here on Wednesday.
The report, titled IGAD Regional Focus of the Global Report on Food Crisis 2023, said that up to 30 million people are expected to require humanitarian food assistance in Kenya, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan and Uganda.
