U.S. dollar ticks down

NEW YORK, June 8 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar decreased in late trading on Thursday.

The dollar index, which measures the greenback against six major peers, fell 0.71 percent to 103.3473 at 3:00 p.m. (1900 GMT).
