ADEN, Yemen -- The Yemeni government has voiced its rejection of participation in any future UN-mediated prisoner exchange negotiations with the Houthi rebels.

The decision comes in response to the militia's refusal to reveal the location of detained politician Mohammed Qahtan and denial of visit by his family and other government officials to him, said Hadi Haig, head of the government delegation in the prisoner talks, on Twitter. ANKARA -- Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan vowed on Tuesday to submit a new proposal for amending the constitution to the parliament.

RIYADH -- Iran reopened on Tuesday its embassy in Saudi Arabia after seven years of closure, nearly three months after the two countries agreed to restore bilateral ties under a Chinese-brokered deal.

KHARTOUM -- Commander of the Sudanese Armed Forces Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan reaffirmed on Tuesday confidence that the negotiations in Jeddah under the Saudi-U.S. patronage will achieve sustainable peace.
