CHICAGO, March 8 (Xinhua) -- Gold futures on the COMEX division of the New York Mercantile Exchange fell on Wednesday as Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell continues his testimony to the U.S. Congress.
The most active gold contract for April delivery fell 1.40 U.S. dollars, or 0.08 percent, to close at 1,818.60 dollars per ounce.
