Feature: Italian coffee giant Illy eyeing Chinese market

ROME, Feb. 20 (Xinhua) -- Although coffee is unlikely to knock tea off its perch as the most popular hot drink in China any time soon, Illycaffe, one of Italy's best-known coffee brands, is betting big on the Chinese market over the next few years.

According to data firm Statista, per capita coffee consumption in China is just 9 cups a year, comparing nearly 700 a year in Italy.
